What happens after you book

You get a confirmation
The online diary sends you the summary: the date, the time and the exact address. Keep it — it carries the practical details for getting in.

There is nothing to prepare
No document to bring, no speech to prepare. For a Tuina massage, just know that it is done with oil, under a sheet.

On the day, we take ten minutes to talk
Before you even settle in. Your rhythm, your sleep, what brings you here. Only then does the session begin.
What you should tell me
Four situations deserve a word before the session. It is not suspicion: it is what lets me adapt the session to you rather than to a theoretical person — and sometimes to tell you that this is not the right moment.
A pregnancy under way
Tell me before you book, and speak to whoever is following your pregnancy: their view comes before mine. The session is then adapted — cancelled only rarely. Maderotherapy and dry cupping are the two exceptions: they are not done during pregnancy.
Any medication or medical follow-up
Tell me, even if it seems unrelated. It does not stop me welcoming you: it tells me to adjust. Anticoagulants, clotting disorders and a recent operation change what is possible. Never stop anything that has been prescribed to you without the agreement of the doctor who prescribed it.
A known health problem, a fever or an infection
Phlebitis or thrombosis, a fever or an infection under way mean the appointment moves to another day. When in doubt, call rather than book: we decide together, and nobody wastes their time.
Broken skin on the area to be worked
Even something small. A wound, eczema or psoriasis in an active phase, a mole on the area. Depending on the case we work elsewhere, or we move things by a few days. Say so before you settle in rather than halfway through.
If something worries you about your health, the right person to speak to is your doctor.
I never stand in for medical follow-up. The sessions I offer are wellbeing support: they come alongside the way you look after yourself, they do not replace it. The precautions particular to each practice are something we go through together before a first session — especially for lymphatic drainage.

On the spot, at the end of the session, in cash, French cheque or bank transfer. There is no card terminal at the practice: that is the one thing to sort out before you leave home.
Something has come up ? Tell me as soon as you know, by phone or from the diary: the slot can then be offered to someone else.

Yes, and even on Sundays. Au Fil de Soi, 4 place d’Ainay in Lyon (69002), is open on Wednesdays from 8 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays, and on Sundays from 10 am. I keep those weekend slots for people who are not free during the week. Sessions are by appointment only: use the online diary or call 06 98 70 03 47.
Not at all, and it is in fact very common. « I am not really sure why I am here, but something is wrong » is a perfectly good starting point. You have nothing to prepare, nothing to formulate in advance, no document to bring. We start from whatever is there on the day.
The price depends on the session and on how long it lasts. Up-to-date prices are shown at the moment you choose a slot in the online diary, and you can also ask me directly on 06 98 70 03 47: I take the time to answer. Payment is made on the spot, in cash, by French cheque or by bank transfer.
The simplest way is Métro Ampère — Victor Hugo, on line A: allow three minutes on foot to 4 place d’Ainay. Place Bellecour is seven minutes away, Gare de Lyon-Perrache eight, and the Basilique Saint-Martin d’Ainay stands on the square, directly opposite. By car you are in the middle of the Presqu’île: there is no reserved space outside the door, so coming by métro or on foot is almost always the quicker choice.
