An hour without a watch, in a quiet room on place d’Ainay, three minutes on foot from Métro Ampère — Victor Hugo. Six practices live side by side there — and nothing is decided for you.
Kinesiology is a wellbeing practice that uses gentle muscle testing — light pressure on the arm — as a way of listening to the body. It looks for a general sense of ease and for tension to let go. It is not a healthcare profession: it makes no diagnosis, it is not a treatment for any illness, and it never replaces medical follow-up.
Kinesiology is the core session, and the reason people come most often. Around it live five other practices: Tuina massage, manual lymphatic drainage, maderotherapy, family constellations, and soon dry cupping. They are six ways in, not six catalogues.
Some people arrive with a very precise request — heavy legs at the end of the day, a neck that will not let go. Others arrive with something blurred, that they have not yet managed to put into words. Both can be worked with, and the second is in fact the more common of the two.

I have completed five certified training courses, with three training bodies: SYNAPKIN for kinesiology, which I practise with babies through to adults; TOTEM Formations for family constellations; and MAGIC HANDS for the three sets of hands — Tuina, lymphatic drainage, maderotherapy. In practices where there is no state diploma, the training body is the surest marker there is: I name each one in black and white.
If you are not sure which one is for you, say so when you call. Choosing is my job, not yours — and it is often decided in the first ten minutes of the session itself.

That calendar is the only place they are kept up to date, so it is the only place this site sends you. Payment on the spot, in cash, French cheque or bank transfer.
Ainay is the quiet corner of the Presqu’île, in the middle of Lyon, seven minutes on foot from Place Bellecour. The practice is on the square itself, with the Basilique Saint-Martin d’Ainay directly opposite — which usually matters more than the street name if you do not know the city.

»An hour to an hour and a half, depending on the session. For constellations, it depends on the format.

In four stages. First we talk about what brings you here, with nothing for you to prepare. Then we work out where things are stuck, with muscle testing when it is a kinesiology session. Then comes the work itself, through gentle movements. Finally we put words back around it, and you leave with one or two simple things to do again at home.
Not at all, and it is in fact very common. « I am not really sure why I am here, but something is wrong » is a perfectly good starting point. You have nothing to prepare, nothing to formulate in advance, no document to bring. We start from whatever is there on the day.
It depends on the session. For kinesiology and family constellations, you stay dressed from beginning to end. For Tuina massage, lymphatic drainage and maderotherapy I work under a sheet: only the area being worked is uncovered, the rest of the body stays covered. If you are shy about your body, tell me — I will pay all the more attention to it.
Allow an hour to an hour and a quarter for kinesiology, an hour and a half for Tuina massage and for lymphatic drainage, an hour for maderotherapy and for dry cupping. For family constellations, how long it takes depends on the format: we talk it through together before fixing the appointment. These timings are approximate — if needed, we take the time to welcome whatever needs to be welcomed.
That depends on you, and be wary of anyone who gives you a number over the phone. Some people come once, for one precise situation. Others find it useful to come back three to six times, two to four weeks apart. No package is sold in advance here: you decide each time.
No, never, and I am very clear about that. The sessions offered here are wellbeing support. They are not a diagnosis and they are not a treatment. I prescribe nothing and I give no opinion on anything prescribed by a doctor. If you are on any medication, carry on with it: what I offer comes alongside, never instead.
Yes, and you have every right to ask. I am trained in kinesiology by SYNAPKIN, in family constellations by TOTEM Formations, and in wellbeing massage by MAGIC HANDS. In a trade that is not regulated, training is the only objective marker you have: put that question to every practitioner you see, and change your mind if they bristle at it.
One hour. Nothing to organise, nothing to explain, nothing to get right. Booking takes two minutes, and the room is on 4 place d’Ainay, in the heart of Lyon’s Presqu’île.
